The Farmer and the Policeman۔۔
My name is Talib. I am both a constable in the Sindh Police and a dedicated farmer. My life revolves around balancing these two roles, and each day is a mix of discipline, hard work, and responsibility.
I wake up early every morning, even before the first light of dawn. The first thing I do is offer the Fajr prayer, which gives me peace and strength to begin my day. Afterward, I head straight to my fields to check on my crops. I grow sugarcane, wheat, and maize, and ensuring their well-being is an essential part of my routine. Walking through the fields, observing the growth, and planning the next steps give me immense satisfaction.
After inspecting my land, I return home for breakfast. Once I’ve eaten, I prepare for my police duty. By 8:00 AM, I leave for Mirpur Khas, where I am posted at the Session Court. My job is to maintain security and ensure order in the court premises. It’s a busy and demanding environment, but I take pride in fulfilling my responsibilities as a constable.
My duty ends at 4:00 PM, and I leave the court to head back towards home. On the way, I stop by the local market to buy essentials for my family. Whether it’s groceries or other household items, I make sure to meet my family’s needs before heading home.
By the time I return, it’s time for the Asr prayer. After offering my prayer, I change out of my uniform…
